OVERVIEW

Project Background

Make Complex Simple Again.

My first question was what is the story you trying to portray and to who? They have some vague ideas but no clear direction they wanted to talk about visuals and what they saw the site looks like. Explaining that the user and their story should align first then the visual design would then fall in place. Now that we focused on the who and what it became clear for both stakeholders, they specialized in financial planning and insurance for Dentists, Physicians, Business Owners, Attorneys, and Corporate Executives.

Stakeholders had a lot of info that they wanted to put on the site they were trying to incorporate two websites into one website making a very confusing subject even harder to understand. The Target audience for the new firm was highly trained very stressful time-intensive professionals that needed to protect their financial and future for themselves and family’s.

DESIGN PROCESS

User Interviews

Joe has been doing live events and webinars in his last firm and had some great processes for onboarding dentists and doctors right out of or at the end of their residency.

Tapping into these users was easy and invaluable the biggest takeaway from user interviews was they were hyper-focused on medicine, not their financial future it was unclear and confusing. Where and how do they start what was most important now! These users also were working 60 to 80 hours, so time was a highly valued commodity.

The APPROACH

A Collaborative Culture

Sharing our ideas and methods, in the beginning, helped to build a strong client relationship. Giving much more value down the road.

We decided on a lean approach which emphasized sketching, rapid prototyping, user feedback and design mockups.
