Hello, I’m Trip

A Co-Founder & Principal Product Designer

Trip Horton

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on delivering user-centered solutions that balance functionality, accessibility, and visual clarity.

Facilitating a design sprint with David Hale & Associates (DHA) department heads in Washington, DC leading stakeholders through the design of an internal job board for the recruiter portal.

Today, my passion lies in harnessing the power of AI to elevate product design—making experiences not just usable, but adaptive, intelligent, and impactful.

Whether I’m simplifying workflows for government platforms or improving accessibility in medical applications, my goal remains the same: to design with purpose and precision, creating solutions that genuinely resonate with users and deliver measurable results.

Data-Measured. Human-Driven.

I design experiences where data sharpens the insight and empathy shapes the outcome turning complex problems into products people trust and return to.

AI Operations Intelligence for Commercial Contractors

A 0→1 enterprise product concept that connects field activity, job-cost data, project scope, and operational signals to identify margin risk earlier. I designed a human-in-the-loop AI workflow that moves from risk detection → evidence → recommendation → action while keeping financial and contractual decisions under human control.

AI-Native Job Search Automation

I was losing 20 hours a week just searching three job sites by hand, saving promising listings into a spreadsheet that was already stale by morning. I built a tool that scrapes, filters, and scores listings against my real background daily — landing at 30–50 high-signal matches a day after 14 iterations, with a one-click “Copy Apply Prompt” that turns a match into a tailored resume pass in seconds.

Unified Dashboard From Chaos to Clarity

Google Ads, call tracking software, SEO tools, reviews, and website analytics losing real hours each month to manual reporting. I designed a unified dashboard that pulled every source into one place, turning a process that once took days into something the whole team could see updated in real time.

Designing for Scale, Trust, and a Growing Client Base

The COPE CORRALES website had become an evolving reflection of the firm’s rapid growth. Working from seven years of client data, I redesigned it into a trustworthy financial site with dynamic forms and a student loan refinance calculator built for the older, established professionals the firm had actually grown to serve.

Empowering Designers, Streamlining Development

The goal: Build a lightweight, fast, and intuitive website builder that lets designers create stunning websites no coding required. Inconsistent icons and styles across sites were costing the team 40 hours of rework per build, so I standardized the system end to end, cutting that cost at the root instead of patching it site by site.
